Cannabis industry may encounter inflation, retailers will raise prices by at least 10%

In the U.S., 70 percent of cannabis operators said they would try to absorb rising costs rather than raise prices. But 30% of cannabis operators plan to preemptively raise prices to prevent losses.

While inflation has derailed many people's summer cross-country travel plans, the impact of rising prices could soon start to really hurt some.



Cannabis and its many related products have so far largely shrugged off the double-digit growth seen in many edibles, from chicken to avocados - one analyst firm even reported that the growth in cannabis flower, edibles and vaping products Prices fell by 16.7%, 11.8% and 12.4% respectively between January 2021 and 2022.
