Michigan signs a new bill raising the age of sale of vaping products to 21

According to reports, on July 21, local time, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed 11 bipartisan bills, one of which was to raise the minimum age for tobacco sales from 18 to 21.

Not only does the bill raise the tobacco buying age, it also prohibits anyone under the age of 21 from entering a tobacco store and prohibits the mailing of tobacco products to anyone under the age of 21. Products mentioned in the bill include cigarettes, cigars, vaping products and nicotine replacement products.
